TUBBERCURRY TIDY TOWNS ( SWIFT PROJECT ) ON TODAY 12/07/2019 @4.pm

As part of the Swift Survey, BirdWatch Ireland (BWI) field staff are keen to liaise with Tidy Towns groups in the towns and villages where swifts are located, as community engagement and awareness of swift colonies is key to their long term protection. The Swift Survey and any actions arising from it are very complimentary to meeting the biodiversity actions and targets in the National Tidy Towns competition and the survey data and information can be made available to Tidy Towns groups and included in next year’s Tidy Towns application.Come and join us on Wednesday 10 @ 6 pm on circular road ,where Annie Birtwistle will discuss the Tubbercurrry .Swift’s , look forward to seeing u there, by the way , bring a friend.
