These stage shows kicks off Wed. July 3rd for July & August, of Irish music, song and dance feature our resident group showcasing traditional music at its best as enjoyed by generations over many years. One of the Longest-running shows of its kind, Seisiún still gets comments from its visitors that ‘this is what we came to Ireland to experience’. Their seisiún experience is often the highlight of their holiday. Visitors are encouraged to participate if they so wish and also to learn a step of a dance such as ‘The Stack of Barley’ or ‘Shoe the Donkey’ Complimentary tea & coffee at interval to mingle with audience & musicians.

The Tubbercurry Old Fair Festival has grown into a five day celebration with something for both young and old. The Tubbercurry Old Fair Day Festival’s highlight is the Old Fair Day, which is always held on the second Wednesday in August. This gives you the chance to relive yesteryear on the Fair Day in Our Heritage Village where you can experience the sights and sounds and Smells of Fair Days gone by with live animals, live demonstrations of thatching, weaving, Butter-making, trashing, pottery making, rush work and much, much more.

The 2016 County Fleadh takes place in Tubbercurry on the June Bank holiday weekend. The Fleadh will be launched Monday night May 18th. Fleadh is hosted by – South Sligo Branch CCE (Craobh – Sligeach Theas).
