Tubbercurry Old Fair Day Festival

An open Public Meeting will be held on Tuesday 12th September 9pm in St Brigid’s Hall regarding the future of the Old Fair Day Festival 2018. All welcome.

North West Hospice Coffee Morning

A coffee morning in aid of North West Hospice will be held in Killorans Bar & Restaurant on Thursday 14th September from 10.30am onwards. Your support of this worthy cause is much appreciated.

Sligo Greenway Highlighted by Cycle Event

In an effort to draw attention to the huge potential local disused railway lines have if made into a greenway, Brendan Monaghan is cycling a route from Enniskillen in Co. Fermanagh to Tuam in Co. Galway. Part of this particular route shadows the disused railway line running locally between Collooney and Bellaghy. Mr Monaghan, will be joined on his cycle through Co. Sligo by local supporters of the Greenway for Sligo Campaign. The cycle takes place on Saturday 16th September. All cyclists are welcome to join for all or part of the event. Ox Mountain Adventure Camp

Tubbercurry and District Active Retirement Group

The first meeting of the Association for the Autumn/Winter session will be held in the Health Centre at 8.30 pm on Tuesday, September 12th. New members are very welcome.  You will hear of our plans for the coming months.

The Historical Dublin Tour, organised by the local Active Retirement Group, is now fully booked out, with a waiting list for cancellations. We would like to thank all who booked so promptly. The coach will leave Tubbercurry, Teach Laighne Car Park, at 8.30 am on Monday, September 18th and we are all looking forward to a few enjoyable days together.

Tubbercurry Women’s Group

Looking for some crafty time? Why not come and join the Tubbercurry Women’s Group. We meet every Wednesday from 5.30pm until 8.30pm at the community room at the Tubbercurry library. We’ll be delighted to see you.
