Cancer Support Group
The team in the Cancer support centre wishes to gratefully acknowledge the great support and help received for our cake sale which took place recently. It really was a great success for the centre and made in the region of €1200. Your help and thoughtfulness made this possible. We never cease to be amazed at people’s generosity. It’s what keeps us going here.  Sligo Cancer Support Centre, 53 Ard Aisling, Charlestown Road, Tubbercurry is a place of Peace and Hope for people who have or had cancer and their families. Healing Bio-energy and Reflexology Therapies, and one to one support and Counselling. Drop in centre open Mon-Thurs 10-4pm. Call 089 4480527

Tubbercurry Library
have loads on offer to keep you entertained over the Summer Holidays.
Saturday June 24th 10:30am-12:30pm : The Library Games Club : The library will be hosting a series of Board gaming club sessions starting in June.

Thursday June 29th, : 3pm Summer Stars Reading Adventure Official Launch, with special guests.

House Concert.  
The musical pairing of Kieran Quinn and Seamie O’Dowd will play a house concert at Moy River Folk Club in Cloonacool on this coming Friday June 23rd at 8pm sharp. A light supper is included. Space is limited so booking is essential on 087 2512030.

Cake Sale  
A Cake Sale will take place in the Vodafone Shop in Tubbercurry opposite Supervalu on Friday, 30th June at 9am. Proceeds are going to Sligo Rose Lisa Maloney’s journey to the Dome and her year as Sligo Rose 2017. Anyone who would bake for the cake sale it will be greatly appreciated. Cakes can be dropped into Lisa’s house on Thursday Evening and from 8a.m.  Friday morning. There will also be a raffle on the day with some great raffle prizes. 

Children Starting Primary School:  
Parents with young children due to start school – remember to take your child to your local GP for the Booster Vaccines before September, more information at www.immunisation.ie

Tubbercurry Women’s Group  
Looking for some crafty time? Why not come and join the Tubbercurry Women’s Group. We meet every Wednesday from 5.30pm until 8.30pm at the community room at the Tubbercurry library. We’ll be delighted to see you.

Pilgrimage to Medjugorje
Led by Spiritual Director, Fr. Martin Jennings, our pilgrimage to Medjugorje takes place from 27th Sept – 4th Oct 2017. Return flights from Knock, including full religious programme and return airport transfers to Medjugorje. Half board accommodation provided in a private house. The Cloonacool Card Game takes place at 9 pm each Monday evening in Cloonacool Community Centre.
